Beautiful reflection on beauty and paradox and death. The poignant joy of life informed by Christ. You witnessed your father’s death and on seeing his naked body you saw ..”.There is Christ, I thought wonderingly. That is Christ.” The Pieta — it is finished.
Also, this wonderful description of Christ crucified: a virile, emotionally sensitive 33-year-old man. Much humanity there.

Hello dear Ruth Ann. “You are beautiful in God’s eyes”…that does bring a tear. We want to hear it but do we believe it?…God bless.

Hi Heather: I am just listening to your recording on the Poverty of Prayer today and it’s the 19th! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope your retreat is the best gift! I love the phrase: “ He always hears an open heart.” If we could just get our heart to open more!!!!

Well, exactly, Cynthia! My heart is so often agenda-driven…Get out of my way! I need to check off these boxes so I can get to some REAL PRAYER!! In rehab, my heart really was open as I’d been stripped down to pretty much nothing…Summer blessings to you.
