I’ve been thinking for a long time of starting a Substack which as you may know is simply another blogging platform.
I wouldn’t mind widening my readership.
Having written a blog at no cost to my readers for 15 years, I’d also like to increase my earnings.
You can subscribe for free and get free posts here and there. Others will be available only to paying subscribers–five bucks a month, $55 a year.
Finally, I’m thinking to sharpen my focus to one of my first, last, and greatest loves: books.
Meanwhile, here at my website, I plan to share more of my experience, strength, and hope on the vocation of art, the craft of memoir writing, and my approach to workshop giving and manuscript editing.
I’ll post a Newsletter near the end of each week here with a link to that week’s Angelus arts and culture column, a link to that week’s Substack post, personal news of note, and/or general reflections.
But basically I’m moving my blog to Substack.
