JOIN ME FOR A JUNE CATHOLIC ART INSTITUTE RETREAT IN DC

Yep, I am ON THE MOVE.

The Catholic Art Institute is headed up by Barb Nicolosi, force-of-nature professor, screenwriter, speaker, passionate promoter of the arts, general mover-and-shaker, and Red Sox fan.

Also my friend.

Here’s the link to what promises to be a fantastic weekend.

We will be housed at the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land. I mean come on.

I have visited our nation’s capital but once, loved it, and have managed to parlay this current trip into a week of wandering about visiting some of Washington DC’s incredible museums, parks, and gardens.

So come on out, down, up, over, or in, depending on where you live…and let’s explore the specific demands that the search for “new epiphanies of beauty” puts on the artistic soul.

    Good day Heather
We have an Encounter conference in Toledo the week after. We had plan a week long visit to DC and visit our good friend Shatzi from Madonna House. Madonna House have had a house apotolate for over 40 years right on Capitol Hill next to a lovely parish of St-Joseph.
Don’t miss visiting the beautiful cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the arts are just breath taking. We will see if I can swing that conference. Pax Monique

Thanks, Monique, yes I was able to visit the Cathedral of Immaculate Conception when I was there before and also swing by the Madonna House place–I have a friend who has a friend there who may be your Shatzi: can’t quite remember the name. Anyway, it’ll be beautiful and maybe we’ll get to see one another there! Blessings for Holy Week and Easter, and safe travels.
