Whoever curates "The Notebooks of Heather King" in however many years is going to have a tough task.

Do you know the works of J.M.W. Turner, the English Romantic landscape painter? At first glance, and w/o my glasses, these shots, though darker, reminded me very much of his work. He was the original "painter of light", well before Thomas Kincaid ran away with his modern commercialized version. But do check him out – some of his works are breathtaking – Rouen Cathedral, for one – and others more intriguingly titled, but with stunning skies of great drama and moodiness.

Thank you so much, I know there's a film out about him and I have a vague picture in my mind of his work. Time permitting, I will check him out further. I'm just fascinated by how the camera can capture an alternate world or a world within that's not visible to the naked eye…
